Smash Cake Sessions



These fun sessions can be kept simple or themed with a fun setup! The first half of the session I will focus on the birthday boy/girl with the first outfit. After that, we change to second outfit and will start smashing cake and having fun! I’m happy to provide the props/backdrops for your set and can work with your theme if you have one in mind. If you don’t already have a theme, lets work together and see what fun ideas we can come up with, I LOVE doing custom setups!


Cake Smash Sessions are typically scheduled for mornings during weekdays. Weekend availability is very slim so please contact me asap to schedule on time. Please contact us to start planning and booking at least 2 months before baby's birthday if you need final images before their actual birthday.

My little one has food allergies. Will that be a problem?

If your little one has food allergies I ask that you let me know up front so we can discuss our options. If they don't like cake, we can always substitute with another type of dessert/food of choice.

Do you charge extra for twins/triplets?

No, of course not! There is no extra charge if you have twins, triplets, or more! The only extra charge will be with the amount of cakes.

Can we purchase extra images?

Yes of course! Once you are choosing your fave 15 images, you can pick more and we will invoice you for the extra images you pick. We will send all pricing info in your email.

How far in advance should I book?

I always recommend my clients to book sessions from 1-2 months in advance. This gives me plenty of time to order your cake, design your set, and order props if need be. It also allows time for images to be edited and delivered if you want them before baby's birthday/party.

All collections require a $150 non-refundable deposit fee and a signed agreement to book your session date. The remaining balance is due 1 week before your session. This fee is non-refundable however it does apply to your collection total and is used to secure your session with me. When you're ready, I'll send you my super easy booking form where you can read & sign your agreement, and pay your booking fee in 3 short and easy steps.

Can I re-schedule if I have an emergency?

Yes. Life happens and if there is an emergency that you need to re-schedule, then we can move it to another date. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late you will have to pay for extra time in studio (if studio is available) or we will have to shoot for the time remaining. If I provide the cake for you and you need to re-schedule, we will have to schedule the same
